Noir Fashion Week Formerly Known As NYFW BLK takes Season 3 Noir Continues to Elevate and Admire BIPOC Designers

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

5 January 2023, New York, United States

Formerly NYFW BLK, Noir Fashion Week returns for season three on February 10. Noir Fashion Week is an all-black production to honor designers of color and to establish a platform that will encourage inclusivity. This breakthrough event highlights and showcases black talent from the committee to the designers, to the models.

Nichole Bess, founder of Noir Fashion Week says,

"I am delighted to embark on a new season of Noir Fashion Week. We are taking a more impactful approach with the designers this season and we hope that you will join us."

The leading African American fashion organization and one of New York City's most anticipated fashion events, this season will focus on the diversity of style represented by the designers as well as the mission of bringing awareness to issues affecting Black fashion culture.

“My hope is that the new Noir platform will offer a playground for designers in which the possibilities for their creativity is limitless. The notion of breaking the traditional boundaries of showing fashion can allow us to open a new creative lane that encourages interdisciplinary innovation within Fashion, Beauty, Tech, and Sustainability”, says Dr. Courtney A. Hammonds, COO.

Last Year the production featured three designers from the Edessa School of Fashion and the show was featured on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.

With the increasing success and upward trajectory of the organization's growth, Season 3 will showcase, embrace, and reflect on all that it means to be black. The Black Fashion Foundation will offer scholarships, manufacturing, stockist placement, PR, marketing, and branding by partnering with some of fashion’s elite.
