Why NOIR

Because luxury should look like the world we live in. Noir stands for authenticity, audacity, and access — for the bold visionaries who refuse to wait for permission to take up space on the global stage.

We created Noir Fashion Week Global to:

  • Reimagine luxury through the eyes of diverse creators shaping the next era of global influence.

  • Connect continents through creativity, allowing culture to serve as the new global currency.

  • Elevate emerging designers into the luxury conversation — not as guests, but as peers.

  • Shift the narrative from representation to ownership, from participation to power.

Noir is where heritage meets innovation. Where art meets authority.
It’s not just a name — it’s a statement of identity, resilience, and renaissance.

Season 9 Designers

New York Fashion Week | Global Platform | Structured Runway Activation

Season 9 of Noir Fashion Week brought together designers from Africa, the Pacific, Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States for a curated New York Fashion Week presentation.

Each brand was selected for cultural clarity, construction discipline, and international positioning.

SOLANGEL (Moscow)

Moscow-based luxury house SOLANGEL delivered crystal-drenched eveningwear defined by architectural precision and unapologetic glamour. Sculpted silhouettes, statement red suiting, and proprietary embellishment techniques positioned the brand firmly within global fashion capitals. The presentation reflected disciplined craftsmanship layered with high-impact femininity.

A clear declaration of international luxury within Noir’s global framework.

Badeseré Lagos (Nigeria)

Badeseré Lagos introduced the ÌWÀ Collection, translating Yoruba philosophy into precision-tailored contemporary menswear. Structured silhouettes integrated Ankara textiles with controlled restraint and modern luxury discipline. Rather than replicate tradition, the brand reframed heritage through architectural construction.

The debut signaled African craftsmanship as a defining voice in global menswear.

Drewe Taylor Designs (Cambodia)

Drewe Taylor Designs presented Kingdom Rising, merging Khmer heritage with saturated color and structured streetwear. Electric pink, neon orange, and symbolic gold accents reframed masculinity through cultural pride and fearless individuality. Tailoring moved fluidly between royal influence and urban energy.

The runway became a declaration of identity without dilution.

House of EmmaEffa (Wash., DC)

House of EmmaEffa brought luxurious texture and sculptural volume to both menswear and womenswear. Exaggerated crochet, oversized outerwear, metallic fringe, and controlled layering defined the collection’s funk couture ethos. Bold individuality was unified through disciplined construction.

Volume was present — but never without intention.

Amirah Creations (New York)

Amirah Creations unveiled a bold womenswear narrative rooted in graphic prints, corsetry, and sculptural denim. Statement accessories and layered silhouettes reinforced cultural confidence and fearless individuality. Structured tailoring contrasted fluid movement to create dynamic tension.

The runway affirmed longevity paired with innovation.

Vagari Vati (Brooklyn)

Vagari Vati presented sustainably crafted garments defined by organic fibers and fluid tailoring. Soft palettes and relaxed silhouettes emphasized mobility, breathability, and global travel sensibility. A live flute performance transformed the showcase into an immersive, meditative experience.

Sustainability was expressed through calm authority rather than trend.

Temesia (Fiji)

Temesia made its New York debut by blending traditional Fijian sulu garments with contemporary suiting. Structured tailoring met ceremonial symbolism, centering cultural integrity within modern menswear. The presentation closed in native song, transforming the runway into a moment of cultural offering.

Heritage was not referenced — it was embodied.

WelthéNYC (New York)

WelthéNYC redefined modern power dressing through disciplined tailoring and bold chromatic control. High-gloss magenta suiting, architectural cobalt jackets, and sculptural ivory formalwear anchored the presentation. Classic menswear codes were respected but never confined.

Precision met personality on a commanding New York runway.

Jose Alberto Vazquez (Puerto Rico)

Jose Alberto Vazquez delivered refined contemporary womenswear grounded in proportion and emotional intention. Monochromatic structure, lace contrast, and sculpted silhouettes honored women across age and size. Each garment balanced softness with architectural control.

Modern elegance was expressed through restraint rather than spectacle.

Edessa School of Fashion (Milwaukee)

Edessa School of Fashion showcased emerging designers through a collective runway presentation. Architectural dresses, vibrant swimwear, and controlled color blocking demonstrated technical discipline and creative experimentation. The student-led collection balanced commercial awareness with runway ambition.

The next generation entered the global conversation with clarity.
