Season 9 Designers
New York Fashion Week | Global Platform | Structured Runway Activation
Season 9 of Noir Fashion Week brought together designers from Africa, the Pacific, Europe, the Caribbean, and the United States for a curated New York Fashion Week presentation.
Each brand was selected for cultural clarity, construction discipline, and international positioning.
SOLANGEL (Moscow)
Moscow-based luxury house SOLANGEL delivered crystal-drenched eveningwear defined by architectural precision and unapologetic glamour. Sculpted silhouettes, statement red suiting, and proprietary embellishment techniques positioned the brand firmly within global fashion capitals. The presentation reflected disciplined craftsmanship layered with high-impact femininity.
A clear declaration of international luxury within Noir’s global framework.
Badeseré Lagos (Nigeria)
Badeseré Lagos introduced the ÌWÀ Collection, translating Yoruba philosophy into precision-tailored contemporary menswear. Structured silhouettes integrated Ankara textiles with controlled restraint and modern luxury discipline. Rather than replicate tradition, the brand reframed heritage through architectural construction.
The debut signaled African craftsmanship as a defining voice in global menswear.
Drewe Taylor Designs (Cambodia)
Drewe Taylor Designs presented Kingdom Rising, merging Khmer heritage with saturated color and structured streetwear. Electric pink, neon orange, and symbolic gold accents reframed masculinity through cultural pride and fearless individuality. Tailoring moved fluidly between royal influence and urban energy.
The runway became a declaration of identity without dilution.
